Who designed Les Échasses, and has the architecture won awards?

Les Échasses was designed by Basque architect Patrick Arotcharen, with landscape architect Marti Franch and designer Jean-Louis Iratzoki. In 2016 the project won second prize in the Prix national de la Construction Bois (French national timber construction award), in the Buildings and Miscellaneous Developments category, as listed by the CAUE Observatoire. It stands out for its timber pavilions on stilts blended into the Landes landscape.
