A golfer’s paradise
Landes region has long been renowned for its appeal to golf enthusiasts. The golf courses of Hossegor, Seignosse, Moliets, as well as Soustons-Pinsolle and Mont-de-Marsan, are highly regarded and justifiably appreciated by golfers. Here, the courses are built on sandy soil, making it possible to organise golf stays and play all year round.
Among the most famous, Hossegor, Seignosse and Moliets are all located close to Les Echasses. The Hossegor course was designed in 1927 and features a typically British layout, sheltered by forests of pine trees, strawberry trees and cork oaks. The Seignosse course, located only 5 minutes from the 4-star hotel Les Echasses, was designed in 1989 by renowned golf architect Robert Van Hagge and is ranked among the 50 best golf courses in Europe. Moliets Golf Club offers both an 18-hole and a 9-hole course. The 18-hole course winds through the pine forest and includes four holes set on the dunes, offering breathtaking views.
The Étang Blanc driving range, located just a few minutes from the hotel, as well as the Hill Golf Center, are also ideally situated less than 10 minutes away.
